●來自美國德州的吳駿毅，讀書所學原為機械工程，自幼學習鋼琴吉他乃至錄音編曲全依興趣及自修。 2001年吳駿毅辭去美國工程相關職務，返台從事音樂創作，作品散見於近年國語流行專輯。
同年吳駿毅參與創作「無非文化」布袋戲系列配樂作曲及編曲，西方養分的音樂思惟，充滿個人風格的冷列樂風，意外切合「孤獨俠客」類型的角色描述，使得成長經驗中未曾接觸過「新世代布袋戲」劇情的吳駿毅，在傳統「港式」配樂中異軍突起深受好評，「吳式」搖滾音樂語彙在東方江湖武林的敘事裡，撞擊出驚艷的花火。
●2005年在台灣布袋戲族群極富盛名的吳駿毅，將自己初始為傳統配樂而生的創作重新改編，原本受縛於劇情設定的旋律，如今經原創者之手，再度羽化重生，綻放為無國籍時尚曲風。
婆娑優雅中，戲迷會意外驚喜聽見熟識的片段，而新的聽眾將經由這張洋溢異國情趣的作品，認識這位成功融合東西方視野的音樂創作人。

●Wu’s
first refreshing and original solo album “a Lounge Romanticist” compiles
his adaptation work from scores for drama in years.
●A Taiwanese from US Texas, Tommy Wu was a mechanical engineering major
in college. Having played piano and guitar since childhood, he is also
a passionate music lover and self-taught recorder/arranger.
●In
2001, he quit his job as an engineer in the US and returned to Taiwan
to start his music career. His work can be found in various Mandarin
pop albums.
In
the same year, Wu participated in the composing and arranging of Taiwanese
puppet drama series for EBTC (Everything But The Culture) Ltd. Music
talents nurtured in the west combined with chilly personal style unexpectedly
fit the descriptions of the “loner warrior” in the drama and have
since brought huge success- against the traditional Hong-Kong Styled
scoring- to Wu, who nonetheless had never seen this “new generation”
puppet drama during his growth. The emerging Wu-styled rock music has
surely struck spectacular sparks in the narrative genre of oriental
swordsman drama.
●In
2005, Wu, already widely known among puppet drama fans, adapts the original
scores he had composed for the drama and revived the music by turning
the story-confined rhythm into a borderless vogue version. The elegant
listening aroma offers puppet fans a glimpse into their familiar composition,
while non-fans are also offered the chance to know this east-west fusion
master through this exotic album.
