●於南台灣成長的洪信傑，學生時期自修鋼琴並積極組團參與音樂活動。
退伍後，毅然隻身前往美國洛杉磯進修爵士鋼琴長達兩年。
由於世界級專業名師門下開課習藝的機會難得，美國課程結束未久，洪信傑再度飛往英
國劍橋拜師精進琴藝。
●因緣際會下，返台後的洪信傑開始投入台灣流行音樂演唱會演出及編曲工作，
極為擅長的爵士、拉丁及放克等節奏樂風，讓洪信傑迅速在編曲界異軍突起迅速竄紅，
並在新世紀急遽改變的流行音樂界佔有一席之地。
●主流唱片市場的編寫工作，無法滿足洪信傑對音樂的熱愛。
布袋戲配樂怪誕奇想的題材，恰巧放肆洪信傑電子迷離與金屬爆裂的節奏狂想；

Magician OF Rhythm- Jay Huang
●Grown up in southern Taiwan, Jay Hung, a self-taught piano player, had spent most of his school years playing in bands. After the compulsory military service, he went to LA for 2-year advanced studies in Jazz piano. Soon afterwards, Hung had another opportunity and privilege to learn under the renowned professionals, so he flew again, this time to Cambridge, UK for further perfection of his versatility.
●Hung started his music career upon returning to Taiwan, arranging and performing for pop concerts. His forte rhymes, like Jazz, Latin and Funk, made him a quick favorite arranger and he was quick acclaimed the prominent figure in the changeable pop music scene.
●However, songwriting in the mainstream market can not sustain Hung’s passion for music. Thanks to the whimsical nature of puppet drama scores, his mystic electro/metal beat find its place in the spotlight. Also, being the leading keyboard player for Mandarin pop concert tours around the world has allowed Hung to polish his skill to the uttermost.
●In “EBTC Maestro Project 2005”, Hung samples some celebrated tracks from the neo-puppet dramas, and ingeniously fuses them with Jazz, turning the traditional minor melodies into pleasant lounge music. As these imaginative, grandiose tunes unfold, listeners may well expect the musician magician to bring out more delightful and surprising beats in the future.
